Hello My Name Is...
My name is Victoria S. Rojo. I teach 5th grade Dual Language here at Carroll Bell Elementary. I teach Math, Science, Reading, Grammar and Social Studies.
I graduated from Southwest High School in 2008, then continued my education at Palo Alto College. Later, I transferred to Texas A & M San Antonio and now hold a Bachelors Degree of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies as a Bilingual Generalist. Currently, I am still attending TAMUSA pursuing a Masters Degree of Science in Bilingual Studies. I am constantly looking for trainings and opportunities to grow as an educator of bilingual students.
In my free time, I love to read! Although Harry Potter is forever my favorite; I enjoy reading mysteries, stories that relate to real life/history, and poems. Dan Brown, Pablo Neruda, and J.K Rowling are some of my favorite authors. I also enjoy exploring the world we live in. I hope to one day be able to travel and visit at least one place in each continent! Another thing I truly enjoy is spending time with my adorable husband! We have been married for almost 5 years now. We spend a lot of time with our families and enjoy every moment!
